PhOREMOST Partners

PhOREMOST represents 34 contributing partners from universities, research centres and industry from 17 different countries.

The network consists of almost 300 researchers working in the field of nanophotonics, who meet  regularly at the bi-annual general assembly meetings, and phoremost organised workshops and summer schools. Phoremost also actively support other related conferences, meeting and schools.

The advantage of such a large consortium is that PhOREMOST researchers and students have a wealth of resources available to them in the form of scientific expertise, human resources, equipment and facilities. The network facilitates and supports the use of these resources and in turn this allow partners to focus on their strongest research assests. Young researchers and students are actively encouraged to use the researcher mobilty programme.

Through collaborations, joint projects, researcher exchanges and the sharing of facilities, the benefit to the European Community will be a collective one, not just the sum of individual laboratories, strengthening the research field of nanophotonics and developing molecular photonics.
