Researcher Exchanges

The Researcher Exchange Programme offers an attractive incentive for junior and senior researchers within the PhOREMOST network to work at partner laboratories. The PhOREMOST members have the opportunity to work with any of the 40 research groups within the network and gain access to scientific and technical expertise and a range of state-of-the-art equipment, thereby creating a virtual research community. 

Research Exchange Suggestions:

1)        Meet with other Partners to discuss future collaborations (3 – 7 days)
2)        Meet with other Partners for Proposal Preparations (3 – 7 days)
3)        Visit Partner Institutions  to become familiar with their equipment
4)        Complete collaborative research work

Funding is available for exchange visits of up to three months at a partner institution.

To apply for funding:

please complete the Researcher Exchange Online Application Form outlining motivation for the work and expected financial costs. The form should be completed by the researcher undertaking the exchange (one form per researcher)

Previous paper application forms will no longer be accepted!

Guidelines:

  1. Proposed work must be related to the Phoremost Research Activities
  2. All applications are subject to approval by the relevant Work Package leaders
  3. A brief report should be submitted to the coordination one month after the exchange visit
